She’s the vampire you root for every Sunday night—but in the real world, Deborah Ann Woll is facing the fight of her life against a disease that’s slowly stealing her boyfriend’s sight. here, in a Glamour exclusive, is their inspiring story.
Back in 2007, Deborah Ann Woll, then 23 and fresh out of the University of Southern California’s theater school, was sifting through profiles on match.com. One, for a cute 32-year-old comic named E.J. Scott, caught her eye. They met and fell in love; then Woll landed the role of sexy vampire Jessica Hamby on HBO’s True Blood and her career took off. Total fairy tale, except for one six-syllable word: choroideremia, or CHM, a rare genetic disease that causes blindness—and has almost obliterated Scott’s vision already. Rough? Absolutely. Depressing? These two say no. In this intimate conversation, they share how they’re facing the future, together.
Deborah Ann: I’m shy, and I’d always had a hard time meeting boys. I had a serious boyfriend in high school, but Hollywood, where it’s all about being “cool,” terrifies me! When I opened my Match account, I’d done a few guest spots but wasn’t on True Blood yet, and I wanted to find someone grounded.

I have added screen captures of Deborah on her role in “Ruby Sparks”. It’s a small role, she’s Lila the ex-girlfriend, which explain the complete lack of DAW on movie’s promotional pictures and on the trailer. But enjoy, she looks beautiful as always:
Movie Productions > Ruby Sparks (2012) > Posters
This pictures was posted by DAW on her official Facebook page.

So, additional photos of that photoshoot Deborah did a while back to H Magazine has been added:

So, back in 2010 Deborah did a movie with Josh Lucas and Terrence Howard, directed by Predrag Antonijevi?, called “Little Murder”. The film premiered at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on January 8, 2011. Deborah is Molly, a bartender from a New Orleans bar that see herself involved in some mysterious murder case.
A moody, atmospheric detective thriller with a supernatural twist, Little Murder is set in post-Katrina New Orleans, as a disgraced cop is assigned to routine surveillance on a potential suspect in a recent string of bizarre murders terrorizing the city. Detective Ben Chaney (Josh Lucas) has been in dire straights ever since a drug bust he’d been working on went way wrong, culminating in the killing of an innocent young man who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Barely tolerated by his fellow officers after the incident, Chaney carries out his make-work assignment from a house across the street, a spot where another killing recently took place.
I was waiting for this movie to come out and only had access to it’s trailer a while ago, but I’ve told the movie is out on DVD and you can buy it through Amazon. It’s not released on US, only in Germany, but you’ll have a DVD and Blu-Ray Reg 2. No word yet when or if the movie will be out in US, so, go ahead and get your copy!
You can find now screen captures of the movie in our gallery.

So here’s the screen captures of last “True Blood” episode. DAW didn’t had so many screen time as the past episodes, but she’s alive (sort of), so I won’t complain.
So, “La Cachette” is a short movie Deb did back in 2009 with Eric Nenninger. You can watch the movie here at Spirit Clips and also you can watch a behind-the-scenes footage released a while ago in our video archive.
